BGS State Highway Patrol Troopers stride to their seats during their Graduation Ceremony.  Graduates of the BGS State Highway Patrol face their peers whom they will be serving and protecting throughout the rest of the week.  Cabinet Members meet with State of Ohio Officials. Fire Chiefs survey the damage caused during a controlled burn conducted by the Ashland Fire Department.  Look out below!!! BGS Fire Chiefs accompanied by an Ashland Firefighter get a bird's eye view from the top of the fire truck ladder.  Gaining firsthand experience, BGS Fire Chiefs take a moment to rest after learning about search and rescue. The Fire Chiefs were blindfolded in order to simulate visibility within a real smoke filled room.  With their field kits in hand, the County Coroners venture to a crime scene.  The Legislative Service Commission works quickly and accurately in order to type up the Senate and House Bills.  Federalist Senators, who won the majority of the BGS Senate, listen intently as they learn more about Senate procedures and policies for the upcoming days.  City Government officials begin to develop the policies, budgets, and other matters in order to operate their city efficiently.  Two BGS citizens were stopped by the State Troopers for "drinking and driving" while out on the roadways. Tickets were issued for the violation.  Elected county officials stand to be recognized during the County and State Government Celebration.  The 2006 BGS Lieutenant Governor is sworn in by Judge Patricia Blackmon from the Eighth District Court of Appeals.  The 60th Governor of the 2006 Session of Buckeye Girls State receives a standing ovation before giving her inaugural address.
