During the breakfast hour, delegates voted for city office candidates within each of their cities.  Members of the Nationalist party show their spirit during the Nationalist State Rally.  Displaying excitement for the Nationalist party, members perform the dance to "The Electric Slide" during their State Rally.  Contagious cheering and enthusiasm filled many of the Federalists during their State Rally.  The Federalists display support for their endorsed candidates before the primary election.  Citizens of BGS check-in with election officials before taking part in their patriotic duty and right to vote for their 2006 representatives.  A BGS election official places the completed ballot into the ballot box during the primary election.  Citizens wait patiently for their turn to look at the primary election results posted on the information center windows.  BGS State Troopers and Ohio Highway Patrol State Troopers pose after the helicopter demonstration. The BGS Troopers were given the opportunity to learn more about and explore the helicopter.  Nationalist General Election Candidates await their turn to speak about issues developed by members of the Federalist and Nationalist party during the Debate and Party Demonstration.  BGS City Mayors give their Oath of Office. Seated in front of the Mayors include guest speaker, Virginia Hobbs, Past National Auxiliary President, Desi Stoy, BGS Director, and René Reese, Director of Government.  The newly elected city mayors of the 60th Buckeye Girls State.
