Photographs  The Ohio State Highway Patrol dignitaries were present on the morning of the BGS State Troopers graduation.  As each trooper's name was called, they were handed their certificates and congratulated on stage by the OSHP Troopers.  Here we see a controlled burn demonstrated with actual BGS firefighters assisting.  All the City Fire Chiefs at BGS actually put on firefighter’s gear to get the full effect of the job.  It takes a team effort to get the job done!  A sergeant from the Ashland County Sheriff’s Department speaks to the county sheriffs about special investigation units and their duties.  A BGS citizen gets a citation from the BGS Highway Patrol.  The 2005 BGS Lt. Governor is joined by her family at the reception for the top elected state officials on Thursday evening.  Judge Blackmon congratulates the newly elected Chief Justice at BGS.  At a reception for the top seven elected officials, the BGS Governor is seen here with the Ohio American Legion Auxiliary President, June Stas.  The 2005 BGS Governor is pictured here with American Legion Commander Hank Long.  American Legion Commander Hank Long addresses the 2005 delegates and brought greetings from Buckeye Boys State.  During the County and State celebration the Honorable Patricia A. Blackmon from the 8th District Ohio Court of Appeals enlightens the delegates on the history of the oath of office.  Judge Blackmon gives the county elected officials their oath of office.  The 2005 BGS Lt. Governor takes the oath of office while the other elected officials look on.  The 2005 BGS Governor gives her inaugural address to the assembly.  The Governor takes time after the assembly to talk to the citizens of BGS.
